WEDDING COMPANION/OFFICIANT
As an ordained interfaith minister, one of the most delightful parts of my practice is officiating at wedding ceremonies. This involves far more than just showing up for the ceremony. I work with the couple through every step of the process, from pre-marital counseling, to helping untangle complicated family and religious issues, to planning the ceremony, to last-minute support before the big day.
From my own experience getting married, I find it is essential to have someone "on-board" who is spiritually present for the bride and groom, through all their preperations for marriage.
Feel free to call me to schedule and appointment to discuss your up-coming wedding ceremony!
I'm available to meet in person most days and evenings. Call or e-mail to make an appointment.

"On Working with Tristy:
We wanted a ceremony that truly reflected who we were, but we really didn't know where to start. Tristy took all of our dreams and ideas and questions about what our ceremony should look like and crafted something very special. It was the perfect blend of our personalities with a bit of tradition and spirituality. Many of the guests commented that it was one of the most personal, moving ceremonies they'd witnessed, and we have to agree! What we think Tristy does best is to bring a sense of calmness and spirituality to the event, no matter the couple's religious or spiritual background. Her guidance is one of the key things that made our wedding day so wonderful."

"My husband and I began planning our wedding only a few months beforehand, and our ideas for our ceremony would change often and were somewhat vague. Things started to change for the better after we asked Tristy to be our officiant. She was very organized and helped us plan the ceremony and distill our nebulous ideas. She was willing to help us as much or as little as we needed. During the ceremony she was an incredibly calming presence and a great support....at every step of the way, Tristy helped us express our commitment in the way that we felt was right for us.
I would highly recommend Tristy to officiate any ceremony. She is open-minded, caring, organized, helpful, and sees each individual and each relationship as unique and worthy of respect. She is also a lot of fun!"
